To ensure that your power supply is repaired and returned
as quickly as possible, please use the following procedure:
Read our Terms
and Conditions relating to unit repairs.
Obtain a quotation from Advance Product Services Ltd.
You can do this by filling in the online quotation
request or by contacting
us by email, phone or fax. Remember we offer a fixed repair charge
for all Farnell / Advance Power items.
If the quotation is acceptable and you are a new customer,
fill in and fax back our customer
registration form. This will allow us to add your details to our
system and process your repair more efficiently.
We will then await the unit from yourselves which should
be sent by traceable means along with any purchase orders and details
of the fault (if known) to our standard business address in the UK.
Please follow the details in our overseas
shipping procedure to ensure that the correct paperwork
is used and customs duties and taxes are avoided. Any duties that
are charged by customs due not following the procedure will be added
onto the repair charges.
Once the unit has been received, it will be evaluated,
repaired and tested as soon as possible. If there are any problems
which will delay the return of your unit we will contact you immediately.
When complete, a pro forma invoice will be sent to you based on the
written quotation and the unit will be held in our goods out department
until payment has been received.
As soon as payment has cleared, we will return the product,
typically by air express on CIF U.K. terms. Normally, the cost of
the return shipment will be included on the quotation and invoiced
along with the cost of the repairs. Alternatively, you may arrange
for your own courier to collect the unit from our premises.
All repairs are covered by a 12 month warranty, and
remember we do not charge if we fail to repair a faulty unit.
