Advance Product Services Ltd is an independent, highly professional repair house run by ex-APC (formerly Advance Power, formerly Farnell Instruments) design engineers. Collectively, we have over 50 years experience in the design and repair of DC Power Supplies, particularly Advance/Farnell products, to which we contributed significant design input. Importantly, we also have access to much of the original design documentation including test procedures, schematics and parts lists.

We carry a large OEM spares inventory, as used in the original design; ensuring repair work can be carried out without compromising approvals or product quality. Should an original part be obsolete, we have the knowledge and experience to readily source a suitable equivalent.

Safety is of paramount importance to us. We have full PAT and flash test facilities and all units are subjected to a comprehensive insulation and isolation test, pre and post repair.

Recently, we have experienced a considerable demand from customers wishing for products to replace obsolete Farnell & Advance Power supplies. We are now supplying form, fit and function replacements for selected models with complete transparency to the end user. We are happy to discuss your requirements for product replacements however small the quantity, or simply to recommend near equivalents from alternative manufacturers.

Operating from newly fitted premises, APS Ltd have the facilities to diagnose, repair, test and calibrate all equipment ranging from 10 watts to 5.6kW. We offer a highly proficient service focused on competency, quality and fast turnaround, all combined with highly competitive rates.
